NORMAL START-UP PROCEDURE


AFTER THE INITIAL START-UP PROCEDURE HAS BEEN FOLLOWED CONFIRMING THE PROPER OPERATION OF THE GUARDIAN, AND RELATED EQUIPMENT, THE UNIT CAN BE PUT INTO NORMAL OPERATION.  THE HEATER CAN BE RE-STARTED USING THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE UPON UNIT SHUTDOWN.

1) FIRST CORRECT THE CAUSE OF THE SHUTDOWN PRIOR TO PROCEEDING, I.E. LOW PILOT GAS PRESSURE, PLUGGED ORIFICE, UNSTABLE PILOT FLAME, ETC.

2) RESET THE GUARDIAN PANEL .  WATCH FOR PROPER
BATTERY VOLTAGE AND SPARK INDICATION.

3) VISUALLY CONFIRM THAT THE PILOT FLAME HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED.

4) MANUALLY OPEN THE MAIN BURNER FLAME IGNITION.

5) VISUALLY INSPECT THE CONDITION OF THE MAIN FLAME FOR COLOR, SHAPE, LOCATION, ETC.
